Obusios was born out of a shared vision among artists, cultural workers, and community organizers who recognized a growing need for structured support in the cultural sector. Many independent creators and small collectives faced challenges in gaining visibility, accessing resources, and navigating administrative tasks that often hindered the development and sharing of their work. Motivated by a passion for the arts and a belief in their power to connect people, the founding members came together to create an organization that could serve as both a facilitator and a platform for cultural expression in all its forms.

Officially established as a non-profit, Obusios now works to empower artists, encourage collaboration, and support the growth of diverse cultural initiatives at home and abroad.
